Positive psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on studying the strengths, advantages, and positive experiences of individuals and groups, as well as how to enhance individual and collective happiness, satisfaction, and quality of life. Unlike traditional psychology that focuses on issues, deficiencies, and diseases, positive psychology focuses on the health, growth, and development of individuals and society.
